Donations ‘In Memory’ and ‘In Honour’

In Memory:  You may choose to honour the memory of a family member, friend or colleague by making an ‘In Memoriam’ donation.   Memorial gifts are a meaningful expression of your sympathy and respect in remembrance of family members and friends.  We will send a letter on your behalf acknowledging your gift of remembrance.

In Honour:  An ‘In Honour’ donation is a unique way to say congratulations, thank you or best wishes.  We have had gifts donated for a birthday, wedding, holiday, work event and anniversary.  We will send a letter to the ‘honouree’ on your behalf acknowledging your gift to Hospice.


Donate through the United Way or Telus Employee Campaigns

United Way:    If your employer participates in the United Way Campaign, you can designate a gift to the Delta Hospice Society on your pledge card. 

Telus Employees and Alumni:   Through the Telus Dollars for Dollars program, charitable donations made by employees and alumni are matched by Telus dollar for dollar.  Through their Dollars for Doers program, employees and alumni are rewarded for volunteer activities, based on hours volunteered, by Telus making a donation to your charity of choice.

Annual Appeal

The Annual Appeal was started in 2003 to reach out into the community so that more people are given the opportunity to support the special care we provide.  The appeal is held in November and December of each year.

Capital Campaign

If you wish to support the capital campaign to build a dedicated in-patient Hospice Residence and Supportive Care Centre for Delta, your gift may be directed to the Delta Hospice Building Fund.  Donations should be made payable to Delta Hospice Building Fund.

Endowment Fund

A gift of $1000 or greater may be directed to the Society's Endowment Fund.  This gift will remain in perpetuity, and only the interest will be used to support the work of Delta Hospice.  Please direct inquiries to the Delta Hospice Associate Director.
