Registered Nurses, Registered Psychiatric Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses
Our nurses are highly specialized in the compassionate field of hospice and palliative care nursing. They are often described by family and patients as angels. They are dedicated to their patients, the families, their co-workers, and the profession as a whole. Many of our nurses attend continuing education and receive further certification in palliative care skills.
Support Staff: Hospice Support Workers, Housekeepers and Cooks
Our support staff are the reason we have a beautiful, serene space with extra care and attention to detail. The Hospice Support Workers are trained Care Aides who hold many roles that complement the care of the people who come into hospice. They offer a customized breakfast, support the physical care tasks that require extra hands, offer showers and baths in our ‘spa’ room, among other essentials.
The housekeepers have in-house laundry facility to make sure we can offer a personal touch. They kindly offer different linens to people in care and sleeping options to visiting families.
The cooks have a commercial kitchen facility where they can customize food preferences and make soups, home baked goods and specialty meals as needed to show people we care.
